TOWNS Talks

TOWNS members have continued to serve as catalysts for economic, social and national development contributing their time, talent and resources and linking TOWNS with their advocacies through TOWNS Talks which are open to the public and in more recent times, have been held as virtual webinars and presentations.

Through TOWNS Talks, the public gets to hear messages that are informative, inspirational, inclusive and integrates TOWNS members’ public personas with behind-the-scenes stories leading to a deeper understanding of the values that enabled these women to succeed in their chosen fields. TOWNS Talk was first held in 2018 in partnership with the Asian Institute of Management on “Weaponizing the Internet for Change” featuring TOWNS members Maria Ressa and Gang Badoy Capati.

Recently, TOWNS TALKS co-presented a webinar on Climate Change in cooperation with the National Academy of Science and Technology and hosted by Karen Davila.
