Emy has been in the fields of counseling and clinical psychology as practitioner, educator and resource person. She is currently engaged as a member of the Professional Regulatory Board of Psychology and Chairperson of its Continuing Professional Development Council; Vice-President of the Center for Health Solutions and Innovations; and Treasurer of the Women’s Concerns Center, Inc. 

She authored thirteen books on Guidance, Counseling and Psychology. Pioneering in Neurolinguistic Programming in the Philippines, and continues to explore and developed her own Aligned Transformation Approach in psychotherapy.
