Grace Nono is an ethnomusicologist, singer, and cultural worker from Agusan del Sur, Southern Philippines whose research interests lie at the intersections of voice, orality, ritual, healing, ecology, gender, and decolonization. As a singer, Grace has been specializing in the performance of prayer chants taught to her by elders from different parts of the Philippines. She also sings love laments from the Visayan region. As a cultural worker, Grace founded the Tao Foundation for Culture and Arts dedicated to cultural revitalization. She has published several books including The Shared Voice: Chanted and Spoken Narratives from the Philippines and Song of the Babaylan: Living Voices, Medicines, Spiritualities of Philippine Ritualist-Oralist-Healers.
