TOWNS Awardees

Isabel started her career in a corporate-led social development foundation Philippine Business for Social Progress. For a decade, she managed socio-economic programs and was principal author of “Profile of Filipino Women.” She then embarked on an international career with the World Health Organisation (WHO) as well as serving as a consultant with the Food and Agricultural Organisation, UNICEF and IAEA. Since her retirement, she has been a committed volunteer helping to educate and rehabilitate street children and raising funds worldwide for children in vulnerable situations through the UN Women’s Guild.
