(Deceased) Letty Jimenez Magsanoc was a fearless journalist and editor whose sense of “fun, freedom and daring” challenged Marcos-era excesses and contributed to the end of the dictatorship. She co-founded the Philippine Daily Inquirier and as its Editor-in-Chief, led it to become the country’s leading newspaper.
