Ester Ogena

Elsa is a tourism and travel pioneer who developed and opened up new tourist destinations and put the Philippines on the map with international conventions and local projects and exports in cooperation with the private and public sectors. She was elected Councillor of Makati and during her term sponsored the ordinance that made Makati a city. She began her public career by winning as Miss Caltex in 1963 and has since then received numerous awards from the Travel and Tourism Industry signifying her valuable contributions to the field.
