Ces Oreña-Drilon has been a journalist for 35 years and is well regarded for her insightful coverage of national issues. The abrupt closure of ABS-CBN has prompted Ces to pursue other interests. She is currently involved in farming, e-commerce and digital content creation. An advocate of women’s rights and women empowerment, Ces is active in pushing for women’s reproductive health. In her foray into agriculture via a small farm in Batangas, she aims to propagate native and endemic species and promote their curative properties. She is also an active live streamer on Kumu, a Filipino developed app, to listen to the voices of the Gen Z and millennial generation.
