TOWNS Awardees

Dr. Matias is a Professor at the University of the Philippines in Diliman and Center Director of the Philippine Learning Center for Environment and Social Sustainability (PHILCESS) at the UP National Engineering Center. She was recently appointed as Director of the UP Academic Assessment and Development Office. She was conferred the title of ASEAN Engineer and elected to the National Academy of Science and Technology (NAST PHIL) as Academician in the field of Industrial Engineering. Dr. Matias has been involved in teaching, research and extension work for government, academe and industry and continues to work for the advancement of the Industrial Engineering profession.
