TOWNS Awardees

Karla attained her Bachelor of Music Degree from the UP College of Music and pursued further studies in Opera Interpretations with the Accademia Internazionale delle Arti in Rome, Italy. Her performance credits include Cosette in “Les Miserables”, Julie Jordan in “Carousel” and has performed with Singapore Repertory Theater and Rome Opera Festival in Italy, among many others. She has produced award-winning productions such as “Harana” which received “2016 Image Awardee” by the US House of Representatives and “Passion” as Best Musical for 2019 in the 12th Buhay Awards. She is the Founder and Artistic and Managing Director of the Philippine Opera Company.
